In 2019, with the goal of reducing operating costs and increasing cross sales, executives at Bank of America opted to merge the company’s 5 mobile app offerings (Bank of America, Merrill Edge, Merrill Lynch, Private Bank and Benefits Online) into a single app.

Objective: With the idea, a program name (OneApp, then NBAA - the New Bank of America App) and a bit of media buzz, we set out to solve Bank of America’s most complex digital design challenge to date.
